You're probably wondering what the heck is up with this site so let me tell you...This site is designed to provide a safe haven of sorts to help fellow husbands/boyfriends of belly dancers with the issues that come up with this strenuous role. Many of these issues include: - What to expect at belly dance functions
- Share our stories and versions of what happens
- Help you with "honey do" tasks like:
- Can you cut my music?
- Can you film my show or performance
- What kind of equipment we recommend as far as sound systems, cameras, music editing software, etc.
- How to take great pictures during an event
- and....gift ideas for your belly dancer (good places to buy costumes, jewelry, DVDs, etc.)
We'd also like to provide you an opportunity to share funny stories because we all know there are a ton of them out there. Just keep in mind that this site is brand new and will take some time to get up and fully functional. You may purchase advertising space by contacting

We would love to get your input. Over the years, all of us who have adopted the nickname "Mr. (insert wife's dance name here)" have acquired certain strengths in the highly stressful world of being a husband/boyfriend of a belly dancer. We would love to get your feedback to be added to the site to share that expertise or knowledge with others, especially the new guys that tend to be overwhelmed by all of this. |
